‘Baba Allaudin Khan Music Foundation”(BAKM Foundation) was established as a platform for bringing aspiring musicians and music lovers closer by providing opportunity for musicians to perform.  It has been organizing music concerts in form of monthly ‘baithaks’ and bigger events for last one decade in Delhi. The foundation also gives awards to senior musicians who have made major contribution in the field of classical music as part of its endeavor.
         The BAMK foundation is open to  all talented musicians who want to showcase their talent.  It is really heartening to see young artistes who have taken up music as their way of life coming here to  perform, irrespective of their school of music (Gharana) or their reputation.   The mission is to preserve the motivation level of young musicians who at times may lose interest due to lack of opportunities to perform before true music connoisseurs  It is this unique approach which has made BAMK foundation so popular among aspiring musicians and music lovers across the country.  The BAMK foundation has been organizing these concerts in Delhi for last one decade but it soon plans to expand in other parts of the country where similar platforms don’t exist.
